Greg Constantino
Frozen Ropes is extremely proud to have "Coach Coz" on board
as an Instructor. After a successful HS baseball career for
Canandaigua, including playing on the 1995 Class A Sectionals, Greg went on
to play ball for St. John Fisher College. Following a sensational
red-shirt freshman season, Greg was asked to play in the Northeaster
Collegiate Baseball League, a MLB sanctioned summer league hosting premiere
baseball talent from across the country. That summer Greg went on to
hit .319 and was selected the league All-Star team. Greg's bat really
warmed up later in his college career placing him among the elite hitters in
the nation. In consecutive seasons, Greg hit .496 and .500 and
eventually graduated holding many Fisher and NCAA records. Greg was
named Captain of his college team 3 out of 4 years and also enjoyed several
league, state and nation-wide awards. In the summer of 2001, Greg
signed a 2 year contract with the independent Professional team, the
Johnstown Johnnies. Most recently, Greg played in the Italian
Professional League, and was named to the Italian Olympic team.
When not playing Professional Ball on the International
circuit, Greg runs classes and conducts private lessons for Frozen Ropes.
