Who are the Frozen Ropes Instructors?

All of our instructors arrived at Frozen Ropes with two common traits; outstanding communication skills and a strong affection for baseball and softball.  Having played or coached at higher levels is secondary to learning how to teach and present a training curriculum recognized as the best in the baseball and softball industry.  More relevant than their playing backgrounds, the training and orientation period since arriving at Frozen Ropes has been significant.

Starting with our nationally acclaimed instructional curriculum and hours of video review, our instructor training starts in the classroom and finishes in the hitting tunnels and pitching mounds.  Training topics include human anatomy, kinesiology, vision training, sports psychology and, of course, the latest training techniques and drills in baseball and softball. After the classroom work our instructors observe and participate in hours of mock lessons before working with your child.  Monthly staff meetings present new drills,  individual case studies and a video review of past lessons.

The Frozen Ropes
C.A.K.E. principle of training our staff has become the model for the baseball and softball industry in the United States and abroad.

Training...Performance...Results...

The Lessons at Frozen Ropes

All of our instructors will have undergone hours of classroom and field training so each workout remains consistent. Beginning with mechanical basics and advancing to vision training and relaxation techniques, the Frozen Ropes curriculum expands as the student comprehends the preceding lesson subjects.

Learning Comes in Several Ways

Our video analysis and body awareness drills provides constant visual and physical reinforcement for our students. Each player also maintains a computerized diary at the Center in which entries are made to document their progress.

Hitting and Pitching are just the Beginning

Our training topics also cover infield, outfield and catching skills. Our daily strength and conditioning classes provide an innovative workout to increase overall body strength while reinforcing proper throwing and hitting mechanics. The Frozen Ropes "Mental Tools" training allows for maximum performance during game time.

The Students at Frozen Ropes

Whether your son or daughter is playing T-ball or college ball, Frozen Ropes can make a difference. Students range in age from eight to Adult. Some train twice a week, while other visit us once a month. Parents are encouraged to participate and videotape their child's lesson. Our coaching seminars for parents and high school coaches are considered the very best in the country!

For the college student or the Sunday morning softball player, Frozen Ropes can provide topnotch, affordable training for all . . .
